Ayurved
Hospital and Research Center of Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust,
Pune is regularly arranging free camps for Confirmed Cancer
patients, Arthritis, Asthma, Female and Child Welfare, Chronic Sinusitis,
Hyperacidity, Skin Diseases, Panchakarma, Diabetes Mellitus, Gynac
disorders, Ophthalmic problems, ENT, Urinary Disorders at Pune,
Mumbai,and Solapur. The specialist Doctors of the respective field
provide their valuable services free of charge at these camps. The
reason behind it is to reach out the people and to render our services
to them.

Disease Camp - June
Bharatiya
Sanskriti Darshan Trust in co-ordination with Prabhodad,
Goregaon had organised a one-day event -
'All Disease Camp'. on 1st June 2003 at Prabhodhan Krida
Bhavan, Goregaon.
The activities
were as follows:
1. Free consultation
camp on Cancer, AIDS, Arthritis, Diabetes, Heart Diseases, Female
& Child Health etc.
2. Exhibition
on "Ayurved & Health Concepts"
Resp.
Shri.Sanjay Raut, Executive Editor - Samna inaugurated the camp
and exhibition on "Ayurved & Health Concepts".
Free All Disease
camp started immediately after inauguration, many patients attended
this camp.

Books published
by Trust & Medicines of the Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust's
Atharva Ayurved Pharmaceuticals were available at a concessional
rate on the same day.

- Free Ayurvedic Consultation Camp for All Diseases
With the aim
of propagating ancient Indian sciences, Param Poojya Shri. P. K.
Sardeshmukhmaharaj founded the Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust
in 1954.To spread the knowledge of Ayurveda and to promote research,
Ayurveda Hospital and research center was established by the trust.
Various research projects on diseases like Cancer, AIDS, Arthritis,
Fracture and delayed bone healing ,also project on Female and child
welfare are undertaken by the trust.
Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust organises health camps every year.
Following this tradition in last month on 13th April, 2003 a
free ayurvedic consultation camp was held at Dadar Bhagini Samaj,
Hindu colony, Dadar(E), Mumbai for whole day.
Mr. Kumar Ketkar (Editor-Loksatta) graced the occasion as
the chief guest. After Dhanvantari Poojan, Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh
director of Ayurveda Hospital and Research Center informed the audience
about various activities undertaken by the trust.
Dr.Arvind Kulkarni an eminent oncologist and co-ordinator of the
project spoke about the aims and objectives of cancer research project.
Ayurvedeeya Arogya Sadhana a book written by
Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh about the concepts of healthy living was published
by Shri. Kumar Ketkar. Exhibition on Ayurveda and health
concepts was also inaugurated by the chief guest. While
expressing his views , Shri Ketkar stressed the need to spread Ayurveda
amongst the masses. In order to educate the people , exhibition
on Ayurved should be held at various places.
On this occasion the donors and well-wishers of the trust were felicitated.
The programme of publication ended with the concluding note by Dr.
S.P. Sardeshmukh.
After inauguration the consultation camp started. Many patients
attended the camp. Books published by the trust and medicines of
the Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust's Atharva Ayurved Pharmaceuticals
were available at a concessional rate on that day.

Project Activity Day'
Cancer Research
Project of Ayurved Hospital and Research Centre undertaken by Bharatiya
Sanskriti Darshan Trust had organised a one-day event -
'Cancer Project Activity Day'. The activities were as
follows:

As a part of
this event a free cancer consultation camp was organised in the
morning at Dr.Antonio D'silva High School, S.K. Bole Road, Dadar
(W).
Renowned advocate
and one of the trustees of Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust shri.
C.R.Dalvi presided over the function. Patients with confirmed cancer
reports were registered in the camp. Around 57 patients benefited.
Renowned Marathi
writer shri. Vijay Tendulkar inauguratd the exhibition on Ayurved
and Cancer
Afternoon session
began with the inauguration of books written by Dr. Arvind Kulkarni
and also books published by the Trust 'Karkaroga Prashnottari Marathi
and Gujrathi were inaugurated by renowned paediatrician Dr.V.B.Athavale.
Book on Cancer-Ayurved was also inaugurated by Dr.V.B.Athavale.
Renowned surgeon Dr.Vishnu Acharya inaugurated 'War Against Cancer'
book on cancer.
The afternoon session was marked by the question and response programme
attended by a forum of eminent physicians in their respective fields.
Doctors from both the paathies i.e. Allopathy and Ayurved helped
the patients and their relatives by solving various emotional, scientific
and social problems. A few patients shared their personal experience,
which proved to be a great moral boost to the patients who attended.
Patients expressed
their desire to organise more such sessions in the future.
