Bottlegourd veg. Salad

Ingredients:
Dudhi(Bottlegourd) peeled -1 cup diced pieces
Curds - 1 to 1½ tablespoon
Salt to taste - ¼ teaspoon
Sugar - ¼ teaspoon
Red chilli powder - ¼ teaspoon
Clarified butter(ghee) - ½ teaspoon
Cumin seeds - ¼ teaspoon
Cumin seeds powder - ¼ teaspoon

Method:

  • Boil the peeled and diced pieces in a pressure cooker.
  • Mash the boiled pieces with a spoon.
  • Add salt, sugar, cumin seeds powder and red chilli powder.
  • Whip the curds to a smooth consistency. Add this to the above mixture.
  • Prepare seasoning: Heat ½ teaspoon of clarified butter in a pan.Add cumin seeds to it. When they start spluttering remove the pan.
  • Add this seasoning to the above mixture.
