THE PROJECT REGARDING EFFICACY OF AYURVEDIC MEDICINE IN FRACTURE AND DELAYED BONE HEALING AS A SUPPORTIVE THERAPY

Delayed healing of the bones after fracture is a major problem in India due to malnourishment & after infectious diseases. Ayurved, the traditional Indian medicine is trying to find out efficacy of Ayurvedic Medicine as a supportive therapy for it.
The Ayurved Hospital & Research Canter run by Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust and Sushrut Medical Care & Research Society's Hardikar Hospital, Pune have jointly taken up a project to find out efficacy of Ayurvedic medicine in fracture & delayed bone healing as a supportive therapy.
Dr. Sharad Hardikar, a well known orthopedic surgeon & Vd. S.P.Sardeshmukh are jointly examining the patients since 1999 in the project. Improvement in healing process and symptomatic relief are found in some patients.
